THANK YOUUU!!! it was super rewarding to gather up all my old projects on my page :3, i was going OFF on the quantum gender paper pls ignore the messy math and critical queer rhetoric lol... GB and Fantastic Mr. Fox where huge comfort films for me as a teen! I also like Isle of Dogs and The Darjeeling Limited. Besides that I also rly like the more mature Studio Ghibli films like The Wind Rises and Grave of the Fireflies

I actually love your paper and find it very interesting! I completely agree with your criticism of the MOGAI movement. It's brilliant how you used physics laws and matrices to model the complexity of human identity, even if I got a bit lost sometimes in view of my lack of knowledge . Honestly, even if the idea seems a bit wild, I find it so much more powerful and fascinating to demonstrate that identity is interconnected through mathematics rather than just standard sociology...Isle of Dogs and The Wind Rises are on my list but I am scared to hate The Wind Rises lol Is it worth it? I’ve seen a lot of criticism, especially regarding the relationships of the main characters. I love love the Darjeeling Limited, and Grave of the fireflies was extraordinary but I will never watch again because its heart-wrenching

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I've wanted to publish this but seriously what journal do i even submit a math/gender/philosophy paper to? so getting any feedback is super appreciated!! Now for the Wind Rises.... the romantic backbone that takes up part of the film is very weak and very damsel in distress sacrificing herself for the happiness of the main character. But the film overall is maybe 15% romance plot and 85% evolving war narrative. I mostly like it for it's critical view of science for the service of the state versus being an individual creative venture, and the historical framing. But i'm not gonna call it an easy watch it's long and sad tbh

Oh wow, first of all, a math/gender/philosophy paper is fascinating! That is such a cool interdisciplinary intersection. But yeah, I can definitely see how finding the right journal would be a puzzle, as it's so unique. It’s a shame! Great that you liked the feedback ! I hope it wasn’t out of place for me ! As for The Wind Rises, your breakdown makes me want to put it on my list. That 15% romance part sounds a bit frustrating (the "sacrificing herself for his happiness" trope always stings a bit), but that 85% focus on science vs. the state and individual creativity sounds incredible. Honestly, that kind of historical framing and critique of science is right up my alley, even if it’s a long, heavy watch.
